 26th Jan 2021. India's 72nd Republic Day. In 1950, this very day initiated the democratic system of governance and therefore is always celebrated with a great pomp and show. Large parades showcasing the true prowess of Indian Armed Forces and artists exhibiting the traditional dance forms constitute the grand Republic Day celebrations.  Citizens across the country pay their tributes to the freedom fighters. The unfurling of the tri-colour is performed as a token of respect to the country and to the drafters of its constitution. During all these years, we have come a long way fighting various social issues such as illiteracy, fraudulence, poverty & have also witnessed the eradication of various hindrances, but still there's opulent possibility left for development & betterment of India. After independence, a special constituent assembly was appointed for making the Constitution of India. Dr B.R Ambedkar led the constitution drafting committee. While creating India’s constitution, other countries’ constitutions have also been referred to, so as to create the best constitution. After 166 days, the Constitution of India was finally made.
